At the end of my set of improvised beatz / rhymez at Wattsfest 2011 I asked the audience to help me sing happy birthday to my Dad. Here is the resulting video birthday card!

I am performing a couple of times at a delightful little festival in Devon this weekend. If you happen to be going and you’d like to catch my sets I will absolutely allow it.
I’ll be live-narrating and playing acoustic songs to a little film adventure I’ve made on Friday night (tomorrow) at 12.30am or so in the Apocalypse Fete area.
Then on Saturday I’ll be doing some music stuff in the Apocalisco at 3pm. I was gonna do my film thing in this slot, but the projection isn’t visible enough in daylight so I’m going to do an ad-hoc rap / improv performance instead! Gulp.
Hope to see you there! woowoowoowoo
Hi! I’ll be playing sax in J-Treole at Glastonbury Festival this weekend! If you’re going to Glastonbury and you’d like to have a fun time with us you can do so at the following times and places:
THURSDAY - 14.30 - Fluffy Rock Cafe – The Green Fields
FRIDAY - 20.45 - Magic Bubble Stage - Dance Village
SATURDAY - 00.00 - The Snakepit - Shangri-La
Hope to see you there. Don’t forget your wellies!
This is a music video I directed for the song PAYLOAD by HOT HEAD SHOW.
HOT HEAD SHOW are one of my favourite bands, you should check them out! They are just about to go on tour with Primus.
Andrzej Sosnowski shot this with laser eyes and furious angles, Sammy Patterson and Tom Mooring star in it with exquisite face / limb control and acting bazookas, Carl Peck did the illustrations with frustratingly sweet artistic dexterity and vicious pen strokes, and turbo-thanks must go to Ian Pons Jewell, Gaia Borretti, Jamie Fraser, Debs Anne, Andy Jenkin and Maria Diaz Montoya for being just really, really swell human beings.
For the attention of anyone in or near Cambridge! I’ll be playing saxophone in a band called J-Treole tomorrow (Saturday 4th June) at Strawberry Fair on the Mechanical Menagerie stage at 7pm. Come along for some delicious live hip hop jazz gateaux, you beauty.
I gone and made a mix. Have listen, you!

Stick it to the man. With blutac.IMPORTANT: The Past Present Future Funcast contains crude language and adult material. If you are under 15 you shouldn’t listen.
INFO:
In this episode we learn of Simon’s dabblings with stand up comedy, listen to some of Tom and Simon’s adventures in London, talk about telephone alarms, what music of the future might be like, and plenty more fun things for yourself and others to enjoy! CHECK IT OUT, FRIEND.
Whaarroooo! Music fans rejoice! Today is most certainly a cause for celebration as it marks the exciting official release of the very first Mr Frisby’s Beat Pocket E.P! I’ve had these tracks sitting around for a while, but they have now been set loose to be enjoyed or regretted by all and sundry. I recorded them directly from the pocket using a stereo mic, some frozen peas and a packet of humbugs (the pocket seems to love them).
Take a listen and let me know what you think. You can download the tracks for free, or for a donation, from riiiiight aboouut HERE.
